The Fold, a Chicago-based band comprised of brothers Dan and George Castady and Matt Pittman, this week announced their music for the LEGO Ninjago TV series will be featured in the upcoming Warner Bros LEGO Ninjago Movie, to hit theaters September 22nd.

The Weekend Whip, the Fold’s original theme song for the series will also be re-released on major music syndication platforms for listening on September 15th.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie is an upcoming 3D computer-animated action-comedy martial arts film that’s being directly by Charlie Bean, with writing by Dan and Kevin Hageman of the LEGO movie and LEGO Ninjago Series. The film will feature a star studded cast including Jackie Chan, Dave Franco, Fred Armisen and Zach Woods. Following the LEGO Ninjago toy line, this is the first film to be based on original LEGO property. It is also the second spin-off installment from the 2014 film, The LEGO Movie, following the release of The LEGO Batman Movie during early 2017.
