Powerful Women In Business, Association will launch its inaugural Powerful Women in Business Global Conference November 10-11, 2017 at the newly renovated Marriott Crabtree Valley Raleigh in Raleigh, North Carolina. Travelling from major cities across the U.S. and across international borders, under one roof, will hail a plethora of existing and aspiring business owners, as well
as women who are industry leaders within public and private sectors.
PWIB Global Conference is organized by Adria Hookes, who is also the Founder of Powerful Women In Business, LLC, and its social media offshoot, a nearly 12,000 member group, also named Powerful Women In Business. Hookes saw Raleigh, North Carolina as an ideal locale for the event given the notable rapid growth of female entrepreneurs emerging from the Raleigh area.
The weekend kicks off Friday, November 10, 5:30PM, with a Vendor Expo and Networking Mixer featuring DJ Vspizzle, where women will have the opportunity to engage in a relaxed environ with like-minded women, all who share in their aspirations to build, operate, and/or sustain successful businesses and brands.
Saturday, November 11, participants will convene for a full day of engaging sessions, inclusive of three facilitated presentations, a panel discussion, and a Luncheon Keynote Address by Master Coach, best-selling author, and motivational speaker, Kelly Campbell. Among the distinguished powerhouse panel of presenters is Atlanta’s Kim Whitehead, U. S. Patent Attorney, Engineer, Author, and Dream Strategist. Whitehead will facilitate the session, Protect Your Business Legally, aimed at helping business professionals launch sustainable businesses and acquire knowledge related to articles of incorporation, trademark and brand protection, copyrights, and business contracts.
Adria Hookes, a certified business coach, also known as the Business Bae™, will facilitate the session, Your Network is Your Net worth, which is designed to teach participants effective networking strategies they can employ while developing profitable business relations.
The third session, Slay Your Brand Online, which takes place during the afternoon, is facilitated by Phoenix, Arizona native, LaNae Javet, Founder of Culsire and The Mogul Institute. During this session, participants will learn to exercise social media best practices to promote their businesses and build a consistent, powerful brand identity in order to thrive in the present technological age.
The Conference concludes with a panel session, titled: Own Your Power in Business. The discussion is shared by four women business owners, said to be among the most transformational leaders of the millennial: Chinaza Duson, Meisha Amia, and Shanail Mo’Nick.
